Why Lard you might ask?

Lard produces a creamy luxurious lather. These are hard and long lasting bars of soap.

~These soaps are handcrafted in small batches here on our farm in Volant, Pennsylvania. We use lard from our pasture raised pigs. Our unscented soap is lye, distilled water, lard and kaolin clay. Absolutely no essential oil or fragrance is added. However, all unscented lard soap will have a slight scent to it. Depending on the time of year and what the pigs are eating that scent can vary. We have added the kaolin clay for the added benefits of detoxifying, gentle cleansing and lather.

~Our high quality lard is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, A and D. Lard is very similar to the cellular make up and pH of our skin thus making it very gentle on the skin and readily absorbed, locking in moisture. In our own experience and that of our customers it has helped to clear up problem skin(acne, eczema, rosacea). It will also help balance oily skin while still moisturizing.

~Can also be used as a shampoo bar, laundry stain stick or dish soap.
