Luxe Lard Face Balm 1.5 oz.

This face balm is handcrafted in small batches here on our farm in Volant, Pennsylvania. We use lard from our pasture raised pigs, local beeswax and herbs that are locally sourced or grown here on the farm.

Our high quality lard is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, A and D. Lard is very similar to the cellular make up and pH of our skin making it very gentle on the skin and readily absorbed, locking in moisture. Lard promotes collagen production resulting in improved elasticity. It also evens out skin tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, firms and tones skin.

We infuse our lard with rosemary (leaves) and lavender (flowers).

~Rosemary is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, protects skin from sun damage and free radicals.

~Lavender is anti-inflammatory, full of anti-oxidants, evens skin tone, can reduce discoloration from sun damage, and helps with redness.

What sets our Face Balm apart from our Balm is the addition of Rose hip oil, Carrot Seed oil and Jojoba oil.

~Rose hip oil is high in vitamin A, C & E. It has many anti-aging properties; improves elasticity, boosts collagen, reduces wrinkles and pore size. It is great for sun damage and discoloration.

~Carrot Seed oil is high in vitamins A & E. It is rich in anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, improves elasticity, promotes cell turnover and is also good for sun damage and discoloration.

~Jojoba oil is high in vitamin E and closely mimics our own sebum. It balances the skin and is anti-inflammatory.

The anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of these additions make our Face Balm great for acne prone skin.

Great for all skin types! Balances oily skin and moisturizes dry skin.

Our Face Balm also has a lighter texture than our Balm

REMEMBER! A little goes a long way! Start with clean hands and apply a pea sized amount, let absorb for a minute or two then reapply as necessary. Store in a cool dry place. Use morning and or night to a clean face. Also can be used for the dry damaged ends of your hair.

Face Balm is unscented. There is a light scent from the infusion of rosemary and lavender.

In our experience, with daily use this jar will last 4 months.
