LARD MAKES A FANTASTIC LAUNDRY SOAP!

We formulated this laundry soap when we started having sensitivity to the commercial "green" laundry detergents that we've been using for years. We needed a detergent that was gentle on our skin containing no harsh chemicals or fragrances that still was effective on dirt and grime. Our clothes get quite filthy working on the farm and it works very well at removing stains, odors and grime.

Suitable for HE washing machines.

Directions: 1 TBSP per load. For best results use hot water but can be used on any temp and add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to rinse cycle to reduce static.

*To pre-treat tough stains use unscented lard bar on wet fabric and let sit for at least 30 minutes before laundering.

Sodium Boralate

Sodium Carbonate

Sodium Bicarbonate

Essential oil (lemongrass and lavender only)
